![]() At first my gaming community that I help run started to have warnings (this one in image form: ) and google chrome managed to block me from getting redirected to that url. I did more research on that site to find out it has a ton of malware on it, somewhere around 500 malware on 2000 pages that google scanned. I managed to talk to the owner of the site to quarantine the site, but I dont think that helped with me. Yesterday morning, I logged into Valves Steam client to see that someone had accessed my account getting through SteamGuard(similar to authentication) and spent some of my wallet money that I had saved on there for some items that they transferred to their other accounts. I contacted support so that isnt really the problem. I think the person might have accessed my email and my Steam account via a keylogger that I might have received a few days ago from that malicious site(talked about above). What I have done to check for a keylogger: I have scanned my computer with these tools and done more actions(in safe-mode): -Malewarebytes full-scan(Free) -Microsoft Security Essentials full-scan -SpyBot Search and Destroy 2.1 -SUPERAntiSpyware Free -KL-Detector (physical investigation) -Checked processes for strange programs running -Checked resource monitor for connections and etc. What I have found: -No keyloggers but some cookies with low threat levels and etc. Constant internet packets being sent out by processes while not using programs - Could not find any strange processes running in task manager or resource monitor (posting more of required stuff soon).
